Welcome to the application “Dame un break”! At the beginning of this course, the primary school students started the challenge of designing educational applications with the purpose of responding to the needs in the event that a confinement situation such as the one previously experienced should reoccur. Thus, our group worked on an application aimed at students in the last years of Primary Education together with students of master's degrees in engineering, in charge of programming and controlling it to function correctly. Due to the arrival of SARS-cov-2, commonly known as covid-19, education, like various sectors of our society, suffered a severe blow, causing confusion, anxiety and much uncertainty, especially in the smallest of the house . In this pandemic we have had a lot of time to reflect on the absences in the educational field, the failures that have occurred and especially on the possible improvements. This is how it was born, “Dame un break”, from a reflection by which we realized that one of the shortcomings in a pandemic situation is fun. The objective of this application is to take a break, that is, to enjoy entertainment always accompanied by learning.
